Application for membership is made in conjunction with the ASBB Code of Conduct which must be read and agreed to as part of the application process.

Why Join The ASBB?
The Australasian Society of Building Biologists (ASBB) has been educating and assisting the public, business, health practitioners and the government about issues related to the built environment since its inception in 2007.
When the public sees our logo, they can be assured that they will receive a high level of professionalism, best practice Building Biology services, and the latest information about Building Biology topics. As a professional body, our structure provides a high level of support for all our members – from students right through to experienced practitioners.

Levels of Membership
Practitioner Member
Must hold a Cert IV of Building Biology or Advanced Diploma of Building Biology.
Full voting rights and entitlement to stand for nomination to the Committee of Management.
Right to use the title MASBB (Member of the ASBB).
Right to use the ASBB logo and name on printed matter
Free listing on the ASBB’s Find a Building Biologist referral list
Participation in meetings, webinars and training days throughout the year
Annual fee: $110.
Non-Practicing Member
This is open to persons who hold either a Cert IV of Building Biology or an Advanced Diploma of Building Biology but are not currently practicing. Yearly CPD points still need to be accrued.
Annual fee: $55.
Associate Member
A company or business who would like affiliation with the ASBB. Your logo will be displayed on our website
Student Member
Open to current students at ACES, who are studying the Advanced Diploma of Building Biology, Mould Testing Technician or EMF Testing Technician.
Full voting rights
Entitlement to stand for nomination as the student representative on the Committee of Management
Participation in meetings, webinars and training days throughout the year
Annual fee: $45.
